Value Methodology Fundamentals 1 (VMF1) is a certified course of SAVE International, the International Society that governs globally the content and certification of Value practitioners.


Ms. Anita Lukose, is a recognized Value Engineering Professional and a Certified Value Specialist (CVS) certified by Society of American Value Engineers (SAVE International) with over 2 decades of industrial exposure from design to implementation. Ms Anita Lukose is also Certified in Design Thinking for Innovation from the University of Virginia, USA. Ms Lukose is a Civil Engineer and worked for over 11 years as AGM & Head of Value Engineering and Innovation at M/s Sobha Ltd., a premier Indian Real Estate and Construction contracting organization. She has been responsible in overseeing and guiding many VE projects and Innovation initiatives. The Trainer is also the recipient of several National and International accolades in VE. She has been conferred the CVS Status (the first lady recipient from India) by Society of American Value Engineers – SAVE International. Ms Anita Lukose was a Board member of the International Certification Board of SAVE International. She is currently the Associate Vice President of the National Council of Indian Value Engineering Society (INVEST) and the Secretary of the South Zone Council of INVEST. Ms Anita Lukose is a Visiting faculty at Christ University, Bengaluru, India where she takes a course in Value Engineering.

Objectives of VMF1 Workshop

To identify and develop Value and Innovation, both Government agencies and Private industry have been using Value Engineering (VE) for making substantial Project and Product Cost reduction and effective Process optimization. The VE methodology can optimize projects, processes, and product development in significant ways.

Through this process, Companies and Government agencies regularly Decrease costs, Increase profits, Improve quality and performance, and Enhance customer satisfaction.

VE is also effective in nurturing Innovation in the organization.

The primary objective of the VE workshop is to provide the participants with a firm understanding and practical insights into the VE methodology to achieve Material Cost Reduction, Functionality Improvement, Product Quality enhancement and Process optimization.
